In this video-based self-study CE, you will see Dr. John Allan conduct play therapy with a four-year-old girl. Dr. Allan will demonstrate the entrance phase of Jungian play therapy and development of a therapeutic relationship. The therapist creates emotional and physical space for the child’s play which facilitates externalization of the child’s inner world.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the entrance phase of Jungian play therapy.
- Identify positive signs of attachment and relationship.
- Understand the importance of allowing the child space to lead play session.
3 non-contact CE hours. For the purpose of Criteria Verification Forms for RPT Credentialing Applications, this training covers 2 hours seminal or historically significant theories and 1 hour Skills and Methods.

If you already have the DVD associated with this CE exam, you can take this exam without purchasing the DVD again. After watching the DVD, you will complete a 10 question multiple choice exam. 3 non-contact continuing education hours will be awarded upon achieving 80% pass rate on exam.
