The UNT Counseling program is the only graduate program in the world that offers multiple graduate degree specialties and courses in Child-Centered Play Therapy. The UNT Counseling Program offers a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a play therapy track specialty and a Master’s of Science degree in School Counseling with specialty courses in play therapy. We also offer a PhD in Counseling with a play therapy specialty track. All play therapy specialty tracks allow for completion of educational requirements toward Child-Centered Play Therapy Certification and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy Certification. Additionally, all graduate degrees in the Counseling program ensure that students are equally competent with child and adult populations. All graduate degree programs are CACREP-accredited.
