Location & Parking

Location

This year’s Center for Play Therapy Summer Institute will be held in the Gateway Center at the University of North Texas! It is located at 801 North Texas Blvd. Denton, TX 76201. For directions and an interactive Google map, click here. Please note the on-going road construction in the area may lead to route changes to reach the Gateway Center.

Construction

There is construction occurring on some of the roads around UNT's campus and this work is currently impacting the following streets: Interstate-35, North Texas Blvd, Eagle Drive, Bernard Street, and Welch Street. Currently, the North Texas Blvd exit and bridge that spans I-35 are closed. To reach the Gateway Center from heading north on I-35, exit McCormick St. and continue heading north on the access road. Immediately after passing the IHOP, turn right to access North Texas Blvd. This will take you to the Gateway Center which will be on your right and the parking lot for the conference that requires a visitor's parking pass is on your left.

Additional construction specifics regarding the roads impacted are listed below:

North Texas Blvd. - Currently no bridge spanning I-35; Road work occurring between I-35 up through the Gateway Center
Eagle Drive - Road work begins at Bernard St and continues through North Texas Blvd; No access to Welch St and Central St
Bernard Street - Road work at the intersection of Bernard St & Prairie St
